Eduardo Chapunoff, MD

dr eduardo chapunoffEduardo Chapunoff, MD is the chief of cardiology at Doctors Medical Center and its six facilities in Miami, Florida. He received his medical degree from the University of Buenos Aires Medical School and completed his postgraduate training at the University of Miami School of Medicine. He is a diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Cardiovascular Disease, a fellow of the American College of Physicians, and a fellow of the American College of Cardiology. He was a clinical associate professor of medicine at the University of Miami from 1985 to 1997. Dr. Chapunoff is the author of several books: Sex and the Cardiac Patient, Answering Your Questions about Heart Disease & Sex, Morbid Obesity: Will You Allow it to Kill You?, and How Not to Drop Dead!—A Guide for Prevention of 201 Causes of Sudden or Rapid Death. All of his books have been translated into Spanish. He has been included in the biographical records of Marquis Who’s Who Publication Board, Personalities of America, Community Leaders of America (American Biographical Institute), and the International Who’s Who of Intellectuals, International Biographical Centre, Cambridge, England. He was named International Man of the Year 1991-1992 by the International Biographical Centre, Cambridge, England. The Customers’ Research Council of America 2009 selected Dr. Chapunoff as one of America’s top cardiologists.

Dr. Howard Paul

oward Paul, PhD, is professor of psychiatry at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, New Brunswick, New Jersey and a field supervisor at the Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology, Rutgers University, New Brunswick, New Jersey. He graduated from Rutgers University with a degree in clinical psychology and completed his internship at the American Institute for Mental Studies. Dr. Paul is board certified in clinical psychology through the American Board of Professional Psychology and a fellow of the Academy of Clinical Psychology. Dr. Paul is currently the book review editor for the journal, Child & Family Behavior Therapy. Dr. Paul is a master therapist, trained in clinical and school psychology, as well as neuropsychology and behavioral medicine. He lectures on integrative, empirically informed treatments and provides clinical supervision to both psychology interns and psychiatry residents. He maintains an active psychotherapy practice, and for the last 45 years, he has written over 100 articles, including studies, book reviews, and book chapters.
